Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in Assetto Corsa Competizione but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great GT4 car setup in ACC is, especially in such a high demanding track like Misano.
This circuit has got a couple of very important characteristic that differentiates it from other GT3 tracks which are the flat kerbs and wide tarmac escape roads.
These two things make this track incredibly challenging when it comes to using all the kerbs and finding the optimal apex point.
You’ll in fact want to run as wide as possible on the exit of the corners thus gaining valuable time.

Driving fast around Misano with the BMW GT4
In terms of car balance, you’ll want to run lots of traction for getting good exits out of the corners, but also lots of car rotation for rotating at the apex.
You’ll in fact have to make a tradeoff between rear grip for the exits and front grip for the entry and middle of the corner.
That’s why I usually recommend getting a proven setup and not going with the DIY route.
Once you’re happy about the car setup, make sure you then practice extensively so that you can improve your driving and lap times by a lot.
