ACC COTA Setup: Bentley Continental GT3

We all know how essential having a great GT3 car setup in ACC is, especially in such a high demanding track like Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

The Austin-based circuit is home to some of the most challenging corners in the world of motorsport, especially the fast section of sector 1 where you’ll need to clip the kerbs perfectly to rotate the car nicely and gain valuable time.

Driving fast around COTA with the Bentley Continental GT3

For you to be quick around COTA with a Bentley Continental car you’ll have to run medium to low downforce in order to be really fast in the esses of sector 1 & 2 while still carrying a good amount speed onto the main straights.

If you don’t mind feeling a little less grip on the high speed corners, then you could reduce the aero downforce even further to gain some precious top speed and therefore lap time down the straights.

Run the front splitter at 0 and the rear wing at 8 and then consider dropping it to 6 to see if you can handle it.

In terms of anti roll bars you’ll want to run quite soft overall in order to get good mechanical grip and traction out of the corners, which is crucial around here.

That will also help in jumping the apex kerbs at full speed without unsettling the rear of the car too much.

Front aRB 4 and Rear aRB 2 should be good enough to generate traction and stability without getting too much understeer from the car.

The Bentley is pretty strong on the straights so you can just focus on having a well-balanced car that can handle the fast corners.

Having said that, once you’re setup is good enough, make sure you then spend some days relentlessly practicing and improving your driving.

That will get you faster lap times and pay great dividends in your sim racing career.
