Have you been looking around for the fastest GT4 setups in Assetto Corsa Competizione but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in ACC is, especially in such a tricky circuit like COTA.
This circuit has been recently introduced from the American Track DLC together with Indianapolis and Watkins Glen, bringing a whole new challenge for sim racers.
All its medium-to-high-speed corners are very challenging and will require the car to be really efficient both in terms of aerodynamics and mechanical grip.
We’ve put together a setup guide that will surely help you get your Ginetta G55 GT4 around COTA quicker than ever before.

Driving fast around COTA with the Ginetta G55 GT4
For you to be fast around COTA with the Ginetta G55 GT4 you’ll need to have plenty of rear traction as well as a very strong front to be quick in the changes of direction.
In addition to that, you’ll want to run medium downforce in the car as it will help you carry lots of speed in all the high-speed corners.
Run the front splitter at 0 and the rear wing at 10 and then consider bringing it down to 8 to see if you can handle it and perhaps maximize your top speed without hurting the overall balance.
In terms of anti-roll bars you’ll want to run quite soft overall in order to get a good amount of mechanical grip and allow you to smoothly run over the kerbs without losing the car.
For a qualifyng configuration, run aRB 4 on the front and aRB 2 on the rear to generate plenty of traction without also getting too much understeer by the apex.
The Ginetta G55 GT4 is usually pretty good in terms of top speed so you could focus more on improving the aerodynamics and mechanical grip from the car.
Having said that, once you’re setup is good enough, make sure you then spend some days relentlessly practicing and improving your driving.
That will get you faster lap times and pay really good dividends in your sim racing career.
