Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in Assetto Corsa Competizione but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great GT3 car setup in ACC is, especially in such a high demanding track like Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
The American circuit is home to some of the most challenging corners in the world of motorsport, especially the fast esses of sector 1 where you’ll need to cut the kerbs perfectly to gain time.
This means that every little detail matters when it comes to setting up your GT3 car for success.
We’ve put together a setup guide that will surely help you get your Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo around COTA quicker than ever before.
Assetto Corsa Competizione COTA Setup – Ferrari 488 GT3
Driving fast around COTA with the BMW GT4
For you to be quick around COTA with a Ferrari 488 GT3 car you’ll have to run medium to high downforce in order to be really fast in the esses of sector 1 & 2 while still carrying some good speed onto the two main straights.
If you don’t mind feeling little grip on the high speed corners than you could reduce the aero downforce even more to gain some precious top speed and therefore time down the straights.
In terms of roll bar you’ll want to run quite soft overall in order to get good mechanical grip and traction out of the corners, which is crucial around here.
That will also help in jumping the apex kerbs at full speed without unsettling the rear of the car too much.
Front aRB 4 and Rear aRB 0 should be good enough to generate traction without getting too much understeer.
Having said that, once you’re setup is good enough, make sure you then spend some days relentlessly practicing and improving your driving.
That will pay great dividends in your sim racing career.
