Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in Assetto Corsa Competizione but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great GT3 car setup in ACC is, especially in such a high demanding track like Bathurst.
With such narrow walls and insane elevation changes, this circuit is a real nightmare for many sim racers.
Also the car will have to be set up properly since being anti-clockwise will mean that the tire pressures and cambers will need to be tweaked and optimized for the left-hand corners.
Running lots of rear mechanical grip and downforce is a no-brainer, especially considering the fact that you need lots of confidence in the rear to push your limits here.
Assetto Corsa Competizione Bathurst Setup – Lexus RC F GT3
Driving fast around Bathurst with the Lexus GT3
In terms of driving I’d suggest taking baby steps at the beginning, pushing the limits bit by bit and then driving aggressively once more confident.
Make sure that you’re braking as late as possible while trail braking all the way to the apex.
You’ll need a setup that is stable under braking, with lots of front grip so you can carry speed and not lose time on corner entry.
If you can achieve that while at the same time practicing a lot, you’ll be set for success.
