So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Monza but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high demanding track like Monza.
With all those long straights, if you’re not on point with your aerodynamics and ride heights settings you’ll be a sitting duck in the straights.
And if that’s the case, you can actually forget about qualifying on Pole or winning online races here.
Just to give you a perspective, the aero balance of Monza is gonna be completely opposite of what you’ll need in Zandvoort or Hungaroring.
Driving fast at Monza in ACC Gt3
So once you’ve got yourself a great setup, it’s now time to switch focus over your actual driving.
Don’t make the false assumptions that having the same setup of your sim racing idol will instantly make you as fast as him.
That’s not the case at all.
You’ll need to in fact need to learn a few tips and tricks to be fast around Monza.
First things first, your braking efficiency should be stellar in order for you to gain time at the first 2 chicanes and at Ascari.
Then you’d wanna be good at jumping the curbs properly in Variante 1 and Variante 2 so that you can put the power ASAP and gain time also on exit.
And finally, Lesmo 1 and Lesmo 2 should be focused around sacrificing a bit of the entry speed to then gain a ton in the following straight heading to Ascari.
