So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Brands Hatch but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Brands Hatch.
This track is a really big challenge due to its high elevation changes, and heavy braking zones.
Think about turn 1 where you’re coming in with a small brake and then in the exit you’ll be going downhill.
It’s certainly not quite the same thing as driving around a “flat” track like Hockenheim or Monza, so it really puts a driver’s skills to its test.
Assetto Corsa Competizione Brands Hatch Setup – Bentley GT3
In terms of car setup, you’ll want to have lots of traction and braking stability to give you the confidence of braking always a bit later and a bit harder.
Focusing on that will guarantee you to be fast after some days of practicing.
So the rear of the car should be pretty low and pretty soft in terms of anti-roll bars and ride heights and have high rear cambers too.
Also, the downforce should be near maximum since you won’t need any top speed at all like you would in Monza or Spa.
So here’s what I’d be looking for and then in terms of driving remember to be late and hard on the brakes as well as soon to full-throttle on the exits.
