So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Hungaroring but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Hungaroring.
With nearly 15 corners it is definitely one of the most twisty and complex circuits to drive.
It also puts a ton of pressure on the car and on the tires since they’ve got barely any time to rest from turn 1 all the way till the last sector.
From my personal experience though, this circuit is one that will put most drivers’ skills to the test due to its layout.
Though when the car is working well and you’re driving properly, you’ll have so much fun in here.
Driving fast around Budapest with a BMW M4 GT3
In terms of driving, you’ll want to be a monster under braking.
You really want to smash that left foot on the brakes, trail brake nicely into the apex while at the same time downshifting aggressively.
You’ll see how much of a difference to your laptimes it will make after you start doing it consistently.
You’ll also want to be good on traction and so for you to achieve that you’d wanna be to full throttle ASAP as you get past the apex.
Finally, regarding setups I’d suggest you aim for high mechanical grip and high traction to help you in being fast around all those medium to low-speed corners.
And also make sure that you’ve got lots of downforce since you need grip in the high speed and anyways you don’t really need much straight-line speed either.
