So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Silverstone but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Silverstone.
This circuit will put any sim racers’ skills down to the test, from beginner drivers to professional alien racers.
The high-speed corners in sector 2 of Stowe, Maggots and Beckets are truly special yet difficult to get right.
The mistake here is mostly about not carrying enough speed in the middle of the corner which in turn will cost you a lot of laptime.
Figuring out the right turn-in point as well as how much steering input to give will be the main deal here.
Driving fast around Silverstone with a BMW M4 GT3
If you’re fast in sector 2 you’ll be well on your way to set purple sectors and fastest laps.
You’ll also want to be strong on the brakes in sectors 1 and 3, but that’s nowhere near the need of being quick in the high-speed section.
Despite having long straights, you should run a medium-high aerodynamics setting sand low ride heights so that you can have lots of downforce to carry crazy speed at Beckets and Stowe.
Also, make sure the rear cambers are enough for you to carry lots of speed under braking so that you don’t lose the rear end of the car while at maximum load.
