So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Monza but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Monza.
Driving fast around Monza with a Ferrari 488 GT3
In terms of driving, the main area to focus on is the braking and track usage.
By braking aggressively and deep into the corner you can really win some valuable time in this circuit, especially at Variante 1, Variante 2 and at Ascari.
Your goal should be to smash the right foot on the brakes, trail brake into the corner while simultaneously downshifting gears aggressively.
All these things combined will guarantee you to be gaining time on entries.
In terms of track usage, you’d want to use all the apex kerbs as much as possible, especially at Variante 1 & 2 and at Ascari, so that you can help the car rotate and get sooner to full throttle.
You’ll see how better your exits will be once you start doing that.
In terms of setups you want the straight-line speed to be good and also the braking efficiency and stability.
Regarding the top speed, make sure your rear wing is dropped to zero and also your front splitter is in position zero.
That’s because you don’t need any downforce at all as you would in Spa or Zandvoort, so anything you’ve got will just drag you down the rankings.
