So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Paul Ricard but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track like Paul Ricard.
Driving fast around Paul Ricard with a Ferrari 488 GT3
For you to be fast around Paul Ricard, you’ll ned to be using all the apex kerbs properly as well as braking late and hard.
That’s really where you can make the difference here.
If your braking is strong, your laptime will probably be fast too.
You want to smash that left foot on the brake and then trail the brakes nicely into the corner while at the same time downshifting aggressively.
All of these things combined will drastically help you slow down the car and therefore win time on the entries.
I’m sure that if you start practicing these techniques day in and day out, you’ll be far better off than the majority of the other drivers.
You’ll also want the setup of the car to be helping you do that.
Make sure you’ve got lots of mechanical grip on the rear which in turn will give you lots of braking stability and confidence to push the braking deeper and deeper.
No matter which track you go, always remember that and if you feel the rear of the car is too loose and unstable under braking, then make sure you work on it and fix it immediately.
