So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Spa but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Spa.
Driving fast around Spa with a Ferrari 488 GT3
For you to be ultra-fast in here you’ll need to develop some skills for the high-speed corners of sector 2.
That’s because you will face many sudden changes of direction that will require you to be very precise and have lots of car control.
No matter how much you practice on it, you need to make sure you that you start developing some sense of speed and limit of the car in all those corners in sector 2.
The car also needs to have plenty of downforce and mechanical grip to allow you to achieve that end goal and give you the confidence needed to be quick around here.
You’ll also need a ton of braking stability and traction to be good in the medium to slow speed corners of sectors 1 and 2.
For braking at La Source or at Les Combes, for instance, you want to smash the left foot on the brakes and trail brake nicely into the apex while downshifting aggressively.
Only by doing so you will gain some valuable time at the end of the lap.
Traction is also key here with all these stop-and-go corners so make sure that is sorted out.
