So I guess you’ve probably been looking for the latest and best setups in ACC around Nurburgring but struggled to find any good one?
We all know how essential having a great car setup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is, especially in such a high technical track as Nurburgring.
Fortunately we’re not talking about the Nordschleife here since that is even more difficult to drive and to set the car up.
In fact what we refer to iss the F1 Grand Prix track which is also home to the GT World Challenge races.
Assetto Corsa Competizione Nurburgring Setup – Lexus RC F GT3
In terms of car setup, we’ll want the rear of the car to be very stable on entry, especially under braking.
That’s because we’ll need that in order for us to have confidence in attacking all those heavy braking zones like Turn 1 and the chicane in the last sector.
The rear should have lots of mechanical grip in terms of cambers, dampers and ride heights and we’ll also want to run medium to high downforce since that’s gonna help in sector 2 a lot.
It doesn’t seem like, but this circuit actually has got lots of medium to high-speed corners where downforce is really essential.
In terms of driving, you’ll want to be super-efficient on the brakes so that you can gain lots of valuable time on entry, but you’ll also want to be soon to full throttle.
You’ll want to use all the traction from the car and even run over the whole exit kerb since that is gonna make a difference in terms of lap time.
