Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in iRacing but struggled to find any good one?

We all know how essential having a great car setup in iRacing is, especially in such a high demanding track like Laguna Seca.

IndyCars are so fast and complex that if the setup isn’t right, you will severely struggle with either understeer on braking instability.

The end result though is always a lack of speed to challenge for race wins.

So what you’ll want to do is to get yourself a professional setup, either downloading a free one or spending a few dollars.

That will help you massively in beating the competition, especially in such a sensitive car.

Being fast around Laguna Seca in iRacing IndyCar

For you to be quick in this circuit you’ll want to have lots of downforce on the car as well as high mechanical grip to drive out of the corners smoothly.

The lap time will be won under braking especially, by attacking the brakes with confidence and trail braking nicely into the apex.

That will then help the car rotate and generate more front grip.

As long as you focus on this you’ll be really fast.

The setups I find the most impressive are usually from one of the top drivers in iRacing, as they have a great understanding of how the car works and what you need to make it faster.

Remember though that once the setup is sorted you’ll then need to just adjust the tire pressure based on track temperatures.

But most importantly you’ll want to work extensively in improving your driving in order for you to gain lots of time.
