Asetek SimSports Latest Release
Even before the doors swung open, Asetek SimSports had fans buzzing with excitement over a new device.
Until now, the Danish manufacturer only offered different versions of formula style wheels compatible with their wheelbases.
However, now they have launched various button boxes and wheel rims which complete their product range.
New Wheels & Button Boxes by Asetek are here!
Asetek produces two versions of button boxes, namely: La prima and Forte. The latter has a more complex carbon composite housing and more buttons and switches than La prima’s aluminium construction.
As for the button boxes, Asetek presents every three wheels paired with a button box which are available in 6 different variations. This enables individual modifications of each component.
Still, the custom graphics of the wheel rims can withstand the feature of being used with other button boxes with different screw patterns that make it unsuitable for custom builds using standard racing wheels.
As for sim racers, there is a broad selection of available contexts including round wheels, d-shape rims, both open and closed rims and the option to upgrade shifter and analog clutch paddles.
Asetek New Wheels Pricing & Availability
For Asetek, the date for the launch is November 20th, where many devices will be presented in Dortmund. Bundles with rim and Forte button box are sold for the price of 499.99,- while La Prima version is sold for the price of 399.99. 40 more euros will take the Comfort Plus rim which is quite an improved version of Alcantara. Next, the Invicta rim and button box have been planned. Most interestingly, a prototype of exchangeable grips for the formula-style wheel is also planned for release in the first quarter of 2024.
