Asetek SimSports Latest Release

Asetek SimSports made a big announcement about their new hardware even before the doors opened in Dortmund.

Up until now, the Danish manufacturer only had formula-style wheels available in various versions to go with their wheelbases.

But now, they have introduced new button boxes and wheel rims, expanding their product range.

New Wheels & Button Boxes by Asetek are here!

Asetek offers two versions of button boxes: La Prima and Forte. The Forte version comes with a carbon composite housing, more buttons, and switches compared to the La Prima’s aluminum construction.

Alongside the button boxes, Asetek showcases six different wheel rims that are all compatible with the button boxes. This allows for individual upgrades of each part.

However, it’s important to note that the custom design of the wheel rims prevents them from being used with other button boxes or attaching standard racing wheels for custom builds due to the different screw pattern.

Sim racers have a variety of options to choose from, including round wheels, open and closed d-shaped rims, as well as the possibility of upgrading shifter paddles and analog clutch paddles.

Asetek New Wheels Pricing & Availability

The launch date for Asetek is set for November 20th, showcasing a range of hardware in Dortmund. Bundles including the rim and Forte button box are priced at €499,99, while the La Prima version costs €399,99.

An additional €40 will get you the Comfort Plus rim, featuring an improved version of Alcantara. Following this, an Invicta rim and button box are planned. Excitingly, a prototype of exchangeable grips for the formula-style wheel is also in the pipeline, scheduled for release in Q1 of 2024.
