In 2023, the ADAC SimRacing Expo returned with a bang, thrilling sim racing fans.

By changing locations, introducing dozens of sim rigs, organizing live racing, and meeting favorite content creators or drivers, this event has been organized in such a manner that it is a must for every racing fan who has been attended.

The ADAC SimRacing expo is a vibrant global event that fully encapsulates the essence of sim racing with drivers and teams from all around the world, regardless of its hurdles.

It becomes a place where sim racers can congregate, witness new launches firsthand, partake in engaging, interactive interviews, socialize, and immerse themselves in the adrenaline of live esports competitions.

Plan your calendar for three thrilling days from Friday, October 13th, until Sunday, October 15th, 2023. These dates represent your primary access into virtual racing and stress the promise of action throughout the weekend and what’s in store when the clock strikes noon.

The exhibition will commence its operation from 10 am CEST to 6 pm CEST for its guests on all the days.

The ADAC SimRacing Expo 2023 will take place at Messe Dortmund, which is situated at Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund, Germany, within Halls 3 and 4 of the aforementioned event space.

Tickets for Your Adventure

However, the process of embarking upon this exciting adventure has been made simple by a host of ticket alternatives. The day tickets can be purchased individually starting from €24.50 euros. A family ticket which can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children is pegged at 54 euros. Of course, there are individuals who wish to stay for a longer period and weekend tickets can be gotten for 58 euros and above.

Exhibitors Showcase

The expo is a goldmine for those waiting for some sim racing hardware equipment and even in some cases able to get the newest games hot off the shelf.

There will be quite a few interesting product releases. Tracking the products from Asetek SimSports will be a must, as this company will show several new steering wheels.

Don’t overlook the collaboration between Ascher Racing and McLaren, or PXN’s entry into the world of Direct Drive wheel bases.

Sabelt heads up the show after making an amazing first impression on visitors by allowing everyone to tackle their sim racing cockpits, Moza Racing is by far the most well-known accident.

And if Fanatec is there, hot new products like the QR2 system and the CSL Universal Hub V2 may be seen. Who knows what other surprises are in store.

Live Racing Esports Extravaganza

Budding sim racers from SimGrid groups will be able to participate in a broad casted esports event in Community Trophy racing final virtually aiming for the sim trophy.

Two online qualifiers have been aired and the final and the last round will be held on the show floor in the exhibition this year.

Live Racing Esports Extravaganza

It will features two exciting races in Assetto Corsa Competizione, set in Valencia. One race will be contested with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) – the other one will be the BMW M2.

These hot races will be watched virtually by their online streamers. They will also be present on the event day, October 13th, 2023 and see the action live.

Live racing esports – Professional Trophy

The second competition of the Professional Trophy is the second of three main competitions during the ADAC SimRacing Expo in 2023. This one is for the professional esports teams and drivers.

In this championship, which uses Assetto Corsa Competizione, the prize pool is set at $5000. So far, Williams Esports has won a round of the competition in each of the three remote rounds held, but Veloce, ITB Racing and West Competition Racing BMW Romania are not far behind them either.

For the German final, two races on the virtual Silverstone will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 as the German live show is planned.

One of the favorites for the championship title will be the best team in the five rounds, nominally rounded, with a number of dropouts in sight, which assures that this will be a very tight competition.

Live racing esports – ADAC Digital GT500

ADAC Digital GT500 using iRacing is unique as it is a showcase of a single event at the expo. This is a physical paired driver 500 km race for Porsche with a pool of 2500 Euros.

The latter shares features with the Professional Trophy in that it will also have live commentary, report, and oversight.

The final race for the main event will be lined up by organizing two qualifiers. Among the teams to compete are Dörr Esports, Falken Sim Racing, Williams Esports (Chillblast and Razer), and Tomas Enge Sim Racing.

  • Qualification Race 2: (20 minutes) – October 15th at 12:30 CET
  • Main Race 500km – October 15th at 14:32 CET

Pulse of the Expo: The Live Stage

In the broadcasting area provided live to the participants of the expo and all visitors inside the spectator, people fun and participate in competitions related to the world of racing esports. One of main focus of the competition is a powerful electronic stage where all the basics of racing action occur.

However, it is not only an entertaining place to watch exciting races but also a space where guests and interviews as well as fascinating advertisement openings are present.

While the exciting race series out there, it would be great to take full breadth as well, starting with wonderful announcement of BMW Motorrad (motorcycles) esports, a live show of pro driver Tim Heinemann, Cube from Grid Finder podcast, and a well-known guy in the automotive TV show business, Sidney Hoffmann.

Sidney will present a modified Porsche by RAUH-Welt (RWB).

As part of the stage performances, “The Motor Racing Book’s” author Suellio Almeida will appear and provide signing of the book.

The Erazer ‘Your Road to Victory’ competition is next to be held and also on the agenda is a Rennwelten community get together.

Sim racing fans should prepare for the 2023 ADAC Simracing Expo which promises to be nothing short of memorable. Todd Knowles will compete for the FEG US racing team.

You can take tournaments and competitions at international competitions and conventions and take part in the shadow of battle as there are many events and a live presentation of the action e-sports and other related subjects surrounding sim racing.
