A New Exciting eSports Challange With Two Different Classes
The Honda Racing eMS Gran Turismo Fastest Attack 2023 is an exciting event that consists of two leaderboard challenges. It is open to participants of different age groups – those aged between 6-17 can compete in the U17 class, while those 18 and over can join the Challenge Class.
To enter the competition, all you need is Gran Turismo 7 on either PS4 or PS5. Simply visit the Sport Mode Lap Time Challenge area and set a time in one of the Online Time Challenges.
Even if you’re not into esports, you still have a chance to win in-game prizes. There are three prize tiers, with up to two million credits up for grabs by setting a representative time.
The Challenge Class takes place at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, while the U17s compete at Suzuka.
You’ll have the opportunity to drive the FL5-generation Honda Civic Type R, which was introduced in the September update of Gran Turismo 7.
This virtual version of the car has been modified with a tune, a roll cage, and a livery design inspired by a car from the real-world Japanese Super Taikyu Series competing in the STQ class.
GT Grand Final Race Event in Japan: Beat the Markers and Win!
On 10th December 2023, there will be an in-person GT Grand Final race event at the Honda Welcome Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo.
This event is for the top 10 times set in the older category and living in Japan. If you manage to set a competitive time, Sony will send you a virtual email certificate later in the year.
The aim is to beat the following markers set by the road-going FL5 Type R as front-wheel drive production car records:
- Suzuka Circuit – 2:23.120
- Nürburgring Nordschleife – 7:44.881
Entries and the in-game time trials will end at 2:59 pm (UTC) on 29th October 2023 so start practicing now!
