Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in Nascar Heat 5 for Watkins Glen but struggled to find any good ones?

We all know how essential it is to have a great NASCAR Cup setup in NH5, especially in such a technical road circuit as Watkins Glen.

If you’re looking to crack into the mid 1:06s then you’ll want to make sure you get yourself a proven and fast car setup to give you the best chance to succeed.

You’ll want to run a negative 1.5° camber both on the front right and on the front left.

You’ll in fact want a simple symmetrical camber configuration since you’ll have many left and right-hand corners compared to the left only corners of oval tracks.

That’s because the negative camber will have more effect on the lateral load transfer and grip at the middle of the corner while the positive camber will just help the initial turn-in phase.

You’ll want a fairly stiff front swaybar around 1.500° since it will help you turn the car nicely at the apex without making the rear too unpredictable too drive.

It’s really key to not have too much oversteer in road circuits like these as it will only cause you to lose confidence and ultimately lap time.

In terms of gearing, you’ll want to run a 3 gears setup with a rear-end ratio of 3.60 as you will need to maintain a high top speed down the straights.
