Valencia is a small, tight track built inside a stadium. It is the least Mustang friendly circuit in the game.
The BMW M4 GT3 is the reference car. The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo is 4 kg behind. The Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II and the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 are tied at 5 kg.
The Ford Mustang GT3 is 21 kg off, behind eleven other cars.

The numbers come from Full Grip Motorsport's BoP for Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, read on 5 October 2026. It is a league balance built from hotlap pace, not the official one in the game.
It works with ballast. The quickest car at each track is the reference at 0 kg. Every other car runs lighter to keep up. The more weight a car has taken off, the further it is from the pace there. I only show their top five. The full table is on their site.
Four cars inside 5 kg, with two tied for third. And the two leaders are both free updates.
1. BMW M4 GT3
Valencia is almost all slow and medium corners. The straight is short. The lap runs anticlockwise, so most of the corners are left handers, and many of them are long.
The M4 is stable, it turns well enough at low speed and it drives out of slow corners cleanly. Nothing here upsets it.
It is odd to see the big front engine car lead on the tightest track. But the M4 has always been good where traction and kerbs count, and this is that kind of lap.
2. McLaren 720S GT3 Evo
Four kilos off. With a straight this short you run a lot of wing, and the McLaren has the most downforce to give. It is strong in the faster left handers at the start and the end of the lap.
3. Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II
Agile and quick to rotate, which is what the tight middle of the lap asks for. Five kilos off.
Other cars that work at Valencia
- Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 (-5 kg). Level with the Audi and very close to it in character. It comes in the same pack as the track, so if you bought the pack for Valencia you own it.
- Honda NSX GT3 Evo (-10 kg). A mid engine car that turns very well at low speed. Ten kilos off. It is in the base game.
- Porsche 992 GT3 R (-10 kg). Level with the NSX. Traction is its strength and Valencia has a lot of slow exits. It comes in the same pack as the track.
What Valencia rewards
Rotation, traction and tyres that survive the left handers.
The whole track fits inside the grandstands, so the corners are packed close together. You are almost never straight for more than a few seconds.
It runs anticlockwise. The right side tyres, and the front right most of all, carry the load for most of the lap. They get hot and they wear.
The lap opens with a fast left after the straight. Then it tightens into a run of slow corners where you need the car to turn and then find traction.
The end of the lap is a long, fast left over a crest that leads to the slow last corner. It is the place where the lap is won or lost. Carry too much speed and you miss the braking point for the last corner.
Power counts for very little. That is why the Mustang is so far back.
What the pro drivers say
Coach Dave Academy asked its pro drivers to rank the GT3 cars in April 2026. They do not name a specialist for Valencia, but they put the Ford Mustang GT3 first everywhere, with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo behind it.
Full Grip has the Mustang twelfth here, at -21 kg. So the two do not fully agree. One is pro drivers judging a car over a race distance on the official balance. The other is hotlap pace turned into ballast for a league. Different questions, different answers.
The best car for beginners at Valencia
The BMW M4 GT3. Fastest in the data, forgiving and free. Same answer as at the Nurburgring and Donington.
It also lets you learn the track without thinking about the car, and Valencia takes some learning.
Sprint races and endurance races
Passing at Valencia is hard. The straight is short, so the slipstream does little. Turn 1 and the slow corner after it are the main chances, and the last corner if the car ahead gets the long left wrong.
In a sprint race qualifying decides most of it. The BMW or the McLaren.
In a long race it is the right side tyres. The lively mid engine cars work them harder. The BMW is the one I would take for a stint, with the pressures checked on the right side when hot.
Pick the car you know
