You earn about 75 cars in Forza Horizon 5 just by completing Accolades, and the game never shows you which accolade pays which car. This is the list, with what each accolade asks for, grouped the way the Accolades menu groups them.
I checked it on 11 October 2026 against two community guides from RacingGames.gg (published February 2022) and RacingGames.gg (April 2025). Playground Games does not publish a list, so these are what the community has settled on. I have not re-run every accolade in game for this page.
How Accolades pay out cars
Accolades are the objectives in the Accolades section of the campaign menu. Each one gives Accolade Points, and the points unlock the next chapters of the festival. Some also give a car, a horn, an emote or clothing.
Not every accolade has a car. The ones that do only tell you the reward once you have finished it, which is why people end up on guides like this one.
Two things to know:
- Some accolades unlock only after another one is done. The Volkswagen Beetle is the example, it needs the Vocho story first.
- A few cars you can also get from Wheelspins. Check the Super Wheelspin cars list before you grind for one. The full catalogue is on the Forza Horizon 5 cars list.
The cars worth the most effort
The accolade cars are not equal. Some are rewards for ten minutes of play, a few are genuinely good cars.

The Koenigsegg Jesko is the top one. You earn it with 3 stars on every chapter of the V10 story. There is a separate page on how to get the Koenigsegg Jesko.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is the grind, 50 car drops, and car drops come from The Eliminator. The Lamborghini Aventador SV is the quick one: eliminate two opponents in a single game.

A car you earn is a stock car, so put it through Car Mastery and a build before you judge it. If you want a cheap racer instead of a trophy, the B class page has the builds I would start with.

The Hall of Fame is levels and Unbeatable wins. Set Drivatar difficulty to Unbeatable before the race, the difficulty settings page has the rest. Buying all seven houses is its own accolade, see how to buy a house.

The leaderboard accolades are only in the April 2025 guide. Online modes depend on there being other players in them, so if one of these will not tick over, that is the first thing I would suspect.
The order I would go in
- The Welcome to Mexico three, in the first session.
- Festival wins and the four Expeditions, because they are on the main path.
- Stories, taking the 3 stars as you go instead of coming back for them.
- Skills accolades while you drive anyway. 25 Car Masteries and 10,000,000 skill score take a while.
- Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Danger Signs, Trailblazers and Drift Zones, one area at a time.
- Unbeatable Drivatars once you own a car that can win at that level, then the 10 race versions.
- Online last, and The Eliminator first within it, because it gives the Aventador, Urus, Mini, G 65 and the car drops for the 918.
FAQ
How many accolade cars are there in Forza Horizon 5?
About 75 in the April 2025 guide I checked. The old version of this page said 71, and the February 2022 guide lists fewer, because some cars came later. The in-game Accolades menu is the final word.
Which accolade gives the Koenigsegg Jesko?
Cinema Irrealiste, which means 3 stars on every chapter of the V10 story. There is a longer page on getting the Jesko.
How do you get the Porsche 918 Spyder in FH5?
Secure 50 car drops. Car drops happen in The Eliminator, so it is a long grind rather than a hard one.
What is the fastest accolade car to get?
The Nissan Fairlady Z. Smash one Fast Travel Board and it is yours. The Ford Focus RS (discover 10 roads) and the Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 (one Horizon Arcade round) are almost as fast.
Do accolade cars have a Car Mastery tree?
They are normal cars, so yes. The Car Mastery list shows the perks. The Renault Megane R.S. is itself the reward for unlocking a perk from another car's tree.
Can I still get the online accolade cars?
I could not confirm how busy the online lobbies are in 2026. The Eliminator and Horizon Tour accolades need other players. If a lobby will not fill, do the single player ones first and come back.
