This is the Project Motor Racing track list, region by region, with every layout and its length. First the count, then the tables, then the three DLC tracks and what they cost.

Everything here comes from the official tracks page and the single track pages behind it, which I read on 8 October 2026 with the game on version 2.3. Names are written the way the site writes them. Where I add my own reading, I say so.

How many tracks are in Project Motor Racing?

The official site lists 21 tracks with 34 layouts.

TracksLayouts
Base game1828

Total2134

The 28 is the number on the store pages too: 28 global layouts in the base game. The counting of tracks is mine, done from the site's list. The site treats the Nürburgring as three entries (Grand Prix circuit, Nordschleife, 24 Hours layout), so I do the same.

By region it looks like this:

South America11

Europe: 10 tracks, 15 layouts

All ten are in the base game.

SpielbergStyria, AustriaGrand Prix 4.3 km (2.6 mi), National 2.3 km (1.45 mi)

Three things to know here.

The Nordschleife comes twice. Once on its own at 20.8 km, once joined to the Grand Prix circuit as the 24 Hours layout at 25.3 km. That second one is the longest lap in the game.

Northampton has two Grand Prix length layouts. Grand Prix and Original Pits are both 5.8 km. The site does not explain the difference beyond the name, so I will not guess at it.

Five of the ten use a place name. Northampton, Derby, San Marino, Brianza and Spielberg. More on that below.

North America: 7 tracks, 14 layouts

Five are in the base game, two are DLC.

Daytona is the road course only. The site lists no oval layout.

Sebring and Lime Rock have three layouts each, which is the most of any track in the game together with Northampton.

Takimiya International CircuitTakimiya, JapanGrand Prix 3.7 km (2.3 mi), Short 1.9 km (1.2 mi)Japanese Prototypes Pack

Bathurst is in the base game. You do not need the free Aussie Rivals Pack for it. That pack adds cars.

Takimiya Short, at 1.9 km, is the shortest layout on the whole list.

Africa and South America: 2 tracks, 2 layouts

TrackWhereLayouts and length
Kyalami Grand Prix CircuitGauteng, South AfricaGrand Prix 4.5 km (2.8 mi)
São Paulo AutódromoSão Paulo, BrazilGrand Prix 4.3 km (2.6 mi)

Both are in the base game. The São Paulo track runs under a place name, but the site's own description of it uses the name Interlagos.

The DLC tracks and what they cost

No track is sold on its own. Each of the three DLC tracks comes inside a car pack. Prices are the US Steam prices, checked on 8 October 2026.

TrackLayoutsPackReleasedPrice
Takimiya International Circuit2Japanese Prototypes Pack31 Mar 2026$9.99
Rocky Knoll Raceway2GT Icons Pack23 Jun 2026$14.99
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta2V8 Power Pack15 Sep 2026$14.99

So all three tracks cost $39.97 together, and that money also buys you the cars in those packs. The cars are on my Project Motor Racing car list, pack by pack. The Year 1 Season Pass and what it covers is on my main Project Motor Racing page.

Road Atlanta is the only DLC track with a real circuit name. Takimiya and Rocky Knoll are listed with locations that match their own names, "Takimiya, Japan" and "Rocky Knoll, USA".

The tracks with place names

Seven tracks on the list carry a town or region name where you would expect a circuit name:

Name in the gameLocation on the siteFirst race on the siteLongest layout
NorthamptonNorthamptonshire, England20255.8 km
DerbyLeicestershire, England19314 km
San MarinoEmilia-Romagna, Italy19534.9 km
BrianzaBrianza, Italy19225.7 km
SpielbergStyria, Austria19694.3 km
LexingtonOhio, USA19623.8 km
São Paulo AutódromoSão Paulo, Brazil19404.3 km

The site does not say which real circuits these are, apart from the Interlagos line on the São Paulo page. What follows is my own reading of the location, the year and the lap length. It is not a statement from Straight4 Studios.

  • Northampton. A 5.8 km Grand Prix lap in Northamptonshire points to Silverstone. The 2025 first race date on the site looks odd for that track. I am reporting it as shown.
  • Derby. A 4 km lap in Leicestershire with a first race in 1931 points to Donington Park.
  • San Marino. A 4.9 km lap in Emilia-Romagna, first raced in 1953, points to Imola.
  • Brianza. A 5.7 km lap in Brianza, first raced in 1922, points to Monza.
  • Spielberg. A 4.3 km lap in Styria, first raced in 1969, points to the Red Bull Ring.
  • Lexington. Two layouts of 3.6 and 3.8 km in Ohio, first raced in 1962, point to Mid-Ohio.

Takimiya and Rocky Knoll are different. Their locations do not exist on a map under those names. Takimiya, with a 3.7 km lap and a first race in 1990, reminds me of Okayama. That is a guess. For Rocky Knoll I have no guess that I would put my name on.

Outside the Nürburgring, every lap in the game is between 1.9 and 7 km. Most Grand Prix layouts sit between 4 and 6 km.

Weather, time of day and the track surface

The store pages call the 28 base layouts scanned. The official site describes the track system under the name True2Track, with dynamic weather, a racing line that dries after rain and a full 24 hour day and night cycle.

That is the developer's description. I am passing it on, not testing it here.

Where I would start

This part is my opinion.

New to the game: Zolder or Spielberg. Short laps, heavy braking zones, few corners to learn. You repeat the same braking points every 90 seconds or so in a GT car, and that is how the car's behaviour gets into your hands fast. Spielberg National at 2.3 km is even quicker to learn.

For close racing: Brianza. Long straights and big stops make the slipstream count. The lap is simple on paper. Getting the chicanes right every lap is the hard part.

To test a setup: Spa. It has slow, medium and fast corners plus a long full throttle section. If a car is balanced there, it is usually fine elsewhere.

Leave for later: the Nordschleife and the 24 Hours layout. One lap takes many minutes, so every mistake costs you a long wait before the next attempt at that corner. Learn the car on a short track first, then go.

For short sessions: Lime Rock Park. 2.4 km on the Road Course, and a lap is over before you can lose focus. Good when you have 20 minutes.

What is not on the list

I checked the official list for the tracks people ask about most. On 8 October 2026 none of these appear on it, under their real name or under a place name that I could match:

  • Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans)
  • Suzuka
  • Brands Hatch

That can change with any pack. Version 2.3 arrived on 23 September 2026 and the game has had three DLC tracks in its first year.
