Assetto Corsa Rally is not on PS5. On 9 October 2026 it is in Early Access on Steam, for Windows only. Supernova Games Studios is working on a console version, by the game director's own words, but no platform, date or price has been announced.
That is the short answer. Below is everything on record, who said it and when, what the timing probably looks like, and what I would play on PS5 while waiting.
Is Assetto Corsa Rally on PS5?
No. I checked three places on 9 October 2026:

The other two Assetto Corsa games, the original and Competizione, are on PlayStation, and that is why people assume Rally will follow. It probably will. But today there is no PS5 listing, and anyone selling you a PS5 code is not selling you this game.

Read the first line carefully. Zonca did not say PS5. He said consoles. Traxion wrote that the game will "presumably" launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and that is the writer's reading, not the studio's. I think the same, because 505 Games published Competizione on both, but I will not put it in a table as a fact.
The weekly builds line is the interesting one. It means the game already compiles and runs on console hardware, which is the hard part of a port. What it does not mean is that a release is close. A build that runs is not a build that passes certification, holds 60 frames on a stage in the rain and has a controller layout that works without a wheel.
When will Assetto Corsa Rally come out on PS5?
Nobody has said. Here is how I read the dates that do exist.
The Steam FAQ aims for 1.0 within 18 months of 13 November 2025. That is May 2027 at the latest, if they hit it. Zonca also said in July 2026 that the game stays in Early Access until the simulation is where the team wants it, so I would not bet on the early end of that window.
Every statement puts PC first and consoles after. On the original Assetto Corsa the console versions came more than a year after the PC release. On Competizione it was about a year. If Rally follows the pattern, consoles come after 1.0 on PC, which puts them in 2027 at the earliest. That is my reading of the dates, not a leak.
The one thing that would change it is a 505 Games announcement with a platform logo on it. When that happens this page gets the date the same day.
What we do not know yet
- Which consoles. PS5 and Xbox Series are likely, nothing is confirmed.
- Whether it will be cross-generation. The PC version asks for an RTX 2080 as minimum at 1080p, so a PS4 version would surprise me.
- Whether it will launch on console as an Early Access style game or as 1.0.
- The price. PC is $29.99 in Early Access and the Steam FAQ says the price may rise before 1.0.
- Wheel support on console. PC uses DirectInput and works with everything. Console support lists are per game and per maker, and none exists for Rally.
- Cross-play between PC and console. Not mentioned anywhere.
- VR on PS VR2. The PC version has no VR at all yet, so this is two steps away. My Assetto Corsa Rally VR page has the state of that.
How to play Assetto Corsa Rally today
You need a Windows PC. The Steam page asks for an RTX 2080 or equivalent as the minimum card and an RTX 3070 as recommended, both at 1080p, with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and it is not light.
If you have a PC near that spec, the game is worth the $29.99 now. Version 0.6 has 18 cars and five locations, and the handling is the reason to buy it. My Assetto Corsa Rally guide has the full car list, the stages and what each update added.
If you do not have a PC, do not build one for this game alone. Wait for the console announcement.
What to play on PS5 while you wait
Two rally games, depending on what you want.
If you want the newest rally game on PS5, EA Sports WRC is it. It has the official WRC cars and a long stage list. My EA Sports WRC guide covers career mode and the settings.
If you want the hardest handling you can get on a console, DiRT Rally 2.0 is older but it is still the closest thing to what Assetto Corsa Rally is going for. It runs on PS5 through backwards compatibility and it is usually cheap.
Both are better with a wheel. I keep the current picks in best sim racing wheels for PS5. I cannot tell you which of those will work with Rally on PS5, because no supported list exists yet.
Should you wait for PS5 or buy a PC?
- If you only have a PS5 and no plan for a PC, do not buy anything for Rally. Play WRC or DiRT Rally 2.0 and wait for a real date.
- If you already have a PC near the minimum spec, buy it on Steam now. The Early Access price is lower than the 1.0 price will be, by the studio's own FAQ.
- If you are thinking of building a PC only for Rally, wait for 1.0. The requirements could still change.
If you are on Xbox the picture is the same: no version, no date, consoles after PC.

Is Assetto Corsa Rally coming to PS5?
Probably, but it is not confirmed. The game director said in October 2025 that the studio is working on consoles and that builds already run on console hardware. No platform has been named.
When is the Assetto Corsa Rally PS5 release date?
There is none. The only date on record is the Steam aim of a 1.0 PC release within 18 months of 13 November 2025. Consoles come after PC, so 2027 at the earliest is my reading.
Can I pre-order Assetto Corsa Rally on PS5?
No. There is no PlayStation Store listing. Any site taking pre-orders for a PS5 version is not selling the real thing.

Nothing has been said about PS4. The PC version needs an RTX 2080 as a minimum, so I would not expect a last generation version.
