Snetterton is a flat old airfield with two long straights and a tight infield. It is a power track with a technical middle.
The Ford Mustang GT3 is the reference car. The BMW M4 GT3 is 4 kg behind. The Honda NSX GT3 Evo and the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 are tied at 9 kg.
Every car in the top four is free with the game. Two updates and two base game cars.
The lap itself, corner by corner, is in my Snetterton track guide. If setups are new to you, read the ACC setup guide first. The car choice matters less than getting the pressures right.

The numbers come from Full Grip Motorsport's BoP for Snetterton, read on 5 October 2026. It is a league balance built from hotlap pace, not the official one in the game.
It works with ballast. The quickest car at each track is the reference at 0 kg. Every other car runs lighter to keep up. The more weight a car has taken off, the further it is from the pace there. I only show their top five. The full table is on their site.
Two cars tied for third. The first four are inside 9 kg and none of them needs a car pack.
1. Ford Mustang GT3

Snetterton has two long straights, one past the pits and one down the back. Both end in a heavy braking zone.
That is the Mustang's lap. It has the engine for both straights and it is stable into Riches at the end of the first and into the slow left at the end of the second.
It is also calm in the long corners at the end of the lap, Coram above all. A long, loaded right that tightens into the last corner. A nervous car is hard work there.
2. BMW M4 GT3

Four kilos off. The M4 does not have the Mustang's top speed, but it is very good in the infield, where the corners are slow and you use the kerbs.
It is the most forgiving car in the top four.
3. Honda NSX GT3 Evo

The mid engine car in the group. It rotates well at the two hairpins and through the tight infield. It gives time back on the straights.
Other cars that work at Snetterton
- Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 (-9 kg). Level with the NSX and the opposite kind of car. All straight line speed and stability, heavy in the slow corners. Snetterton has enough straight to make that work.
- Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo (-11 kg). Strong on traction out of the hairpins and over the infield kerbs. Eleven kilos off.
- Ferrari 296 GT3 (-13 kg). Kind on its tyres through Coram, which is the corner that wears the front left most. Thirteen kilos off.
What Snetterton rewards
Top speed, braking and patience in the long corners.
The lap starts with Riches, a fast right at the end of the pit straight. Then a short run to the first hairpin. Then a tight section of slow and medium corners, the infield, where the kerbs are part of the line.
Then the back straight. It is long, and the exit of the corner before it decides your speed all the way down.
At the end is a slow left, then the fast change of direction through the Bomb Hole, where the car drops into a dip in the middle of the corner.
Then Coram. It is a very long right hander that goes on and on and then tightens for the last corner. You wait on the throttle longer than you want. Too early and you run out of road at the exit, or you miss the apex of the last corner.
The track is flat and open. Wind matters here more than at most places in real life, and the grip is lower than at the purpose built tracks.
What the pro drivers say
Coach Dave Academy asked its pro drivers to rank the GT3 cars in April 2026. They do not name a specialist for Snetterton, but they put the Ford Mustang GT3 first everywhere, with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo behind it.
Full Grip's numbers agree: the Mustang is their reference car here too.
The best car for beginners at Snetterton
The BMW M4 GT3. Four kilos off the reference, free and forgiving. It is easy in the infield, which is where new drivers lose most of their time here.
The Mustang is the next step and it is no harder to drive.
Sprint races and endurance races
Snetterton is good for racing. Two long straights mean two slipstreams and two braking zones where you can pass, plus the first hairpin.
So top speed matters in a sprint race. The Mustang or the Nissan will get you past people. The mid engine cars have to do it in the infield, and that is harder.
In a long race watch the front left. Coram loads it for a long time every lap. And remember the Mustang uses about 10% more fuel than the others, according to Coach Dave's drivers. On a track with this much full throttle, check your fuel number before the start.
Pick the car you know
With four free cars inside 9 kg, Snetterton is a track where you can be at the front without buying anything. If you are still choosing, I go through the whole class in the fastest GT3 cars in ACC and through the way I would decide in how to choose a car in ACC.

FAQ
What is the fastest car at Snetterton in ACC?
In Full Grip Motorsport's track by track BoP, read on 5 October 2026, it is the Ford Mustang GT3, with the BMW M4 GT3 next at -4 kg. That is league data built from hotlap pace, not an official ranking.
Is the Ford Mustang GT3 the best car at Snetterton?
Yes, in this data. It is the reference car at Snetterton, and Coach Dave's pro drivers rate it the fastest GT3 car in the game overall. It is also a free update.
What is the best car for beginners at Snetterton?
The BMW M4 GT3. It is free, forgiving and only 4 kg off the reference. The Ford Mustang GT3 is the reference car and nearly as easy, so either works.
Which layout of Snetterton is in ACC?
The 300 layout, the long one, at about 4.8 km. It includes the infield section and both long straights.
Where can you overtake at Snetterton in ACC?
Into Riches at the end of the pit straight, into the first hairpin and into the slow left at the end of the back straight. The slipstream is strong on both straights.
Do I need DLC to race at Snetterton?
Yes. It comes in the British GT Pack, together with two other British circuits.
Does the balance of performance change from track to track?
Yes. ACC uses a different balance for each circuit, which is why the fastest car is not the same everywhere. Leagues such as Full Grip Motorsport and Low Fuel Motorsport can run their own custom BoP on top of that.
