The best F1 25 Imola setup runs wings at 37 and 31.5, the differential at 90% on throttle and 50% off, suspension at 40 and 3, anti-roll bars at 11 and 19, ride height at 23 and 50 and front brake bias at 54%. It is a high downforce setup built to ride the kerbs. Imola is narrow, fast and full of chicanes, and the lap time is in how hard you can attack them.

The numbers come from F1Laps, which reports what the 100 fastest setups at this track have in common. I read them on 5 October 2026. I have not tested this exact setup in the game, so take it as community data. The reading of it is mine.

Why this setup works at Imola

The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari is 4.909 km long, has 19 corners and runs anticlockwise. It is an old school track. It is narrow, the run off is grass and gravel, and there are three chicanes where you have to use the kerbs to be fast. There is one long flat out section, from the last corner to the braking point for Tamburello.

Wings at 37 and 31.5. Imola is one of seven tracks that run 37 or more at the front and 31.5 or more at the rear. Most of the lap is medium speed corners and changes of direction, so downforce is worth more than top speed. You can compare it with every other track in my F1 25 setups for every track.

Differential at 90% and 50%. The off throttle value is what makes this setup different. 50% is the highest in the game, and Imola is the only track at 45% or more. A more locked differential off throttle keeps the rear stable when you brake and turn at the same time, which is what you do into Tamburello, Villeneuve and the Variante Alta. On throttle, Imola is one of four tracks at 90% instead of 100%, with Australia, China and Monaco.

Suspension at 40 and 3. The front is one click softer than the 41 that 14 of the 24 tracks run. Only Spa matches it at 40. The rear at 3 is soft, like at ten other tracks. A soft rear lets the car take the kerbs without bouncing off them.

Anti-roll bars at 11 and 19. Both are stiff. Only Australia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore run a stiffer front bar, and only Mexico, the Netherlands and Spa run a stiffer rear. My reading: the springs are soft for the kerbs, so the bars do the work of keeping the car flat in the fast changes of direction.

Ride height at 23 and 50. The rear is the highest of all 24 tracks. At the front, only Las Vegas runs more than 23. This is all about kerbs. You go over them in every chicane, and a low car gets thrown off line.

Brake bias at 54%. The same as 17 of the 24 tracks.

Tyres at 24.2 and 21.3 psi. The fronts are low. Only Monaco runs lower front pressures.

How to drive it

Brake late for Tamburello, but stay off the first kerb. It is the main overtaking spot and the fastest approach of the lap. Turn in from the far right, take a little of the inside kerb on the left and let the car run out for the right hander that follows.

Carry speed through Villeneuve. It is a quick chicane on the way down to Tosa. A small lift or a light touch of brake is enough. Too much kerb on the second part unsettles the car just before you need to brake for the hairpin.

Be patient at Tosa. It is a slow, long left hander that goes uphill on the exit. Turn in late and get on the throttle early, because the climb to Piratella follows.

Trust the car at Piratella. It is a fast, blind left over a crest. Brake lightly before you turn and commit. The downhill run to Acque Minerali comes straight after.

Acque Minerali is two corners. The first right is fast. The second is slower and tighter than it looks, and it goes uphill on the exit. Do most of your braking between the two.

Attack the Variante Alta. This is where the ride height pays you back. Take a lot of the first kerb and less of the second. If the car bounces, you took too much.

Give up the first Rivazza for the second. Brake downhill, which makes the fronts easy to lock. Go deep into the first left so you can open the second one and get a clean exit onto the main straight.

How to adjust it to your driving

Change one thing at a time and drive three clean laps before you judge it.

  • The car understeers on the way into the chicanes. Lower the off throttle differential from 50% to 40%. It is the first thing I would try, because 50% is an extreme value.
  • The rear steps out on the exit of Tosa or Rivazza. Lower the on throttle differential from 90% to 80%, which is what the wet set runs.
  • The car bounces off the kerbs. Soften the rear anti-roll bar from 19 to 15 before you touch the ride height. The ride height is already the highest in the game.
  • The front locks into Rivazza. Move brake bias back from 54% to 53%. If it still locks, take brake pressure down to 95%.
  • You are slow on the main straight in a race. Take two clicks off both wings. Do not go further, because you lose more in the middle of the lap than you gain.
  • The rear tyres go off in a long race. Soften the rear anti-roll bar by a few clicks and be gentler on the throttle out of the slow corners.
  • You are on a controller. Start from the same numbers and lower the on throttle differential to 75 or 80%. My F1 25 controller settings cover the calibration side.

Wet setup for Imola

Compared with the dry setup:

  • The wings go down, from 37 and 31.5 to 27.5 and 23. That is unusual for a wet set, but it is what the fastest wet laps run here.
  • The on throttle differential goes from 90% to 80%. The off throttle value stays at 50%.
  • The suspension moves towards the middle. The front softens from 40 to 37 and the rear stiffens from 3 to 10.
  • The rear anti-roll bar drops from 19 to 9. The front goes up from 11 to 13.
  • Front ride height goes up by one from 23 to 24. The rear stays at 50.
  • Brake bias moves forward from 54% to 55%.

Tyre pressures stay at 24.2 and 21.3 psi. Camber and toe do not change.

In the rain, stay off the kerbs at the Variante Alta and brake earlier for Rivazza. The downhill braking zone is where most wet laps end.

Imola setup for the 2026 Season Pack car

The 2026 cars arrived in F1 25 with the 2026 Season Pack. They have their own setups, and a 2025 setup does not carry over. F1Laps files these cars under F1 26. This is the dry set for Imola as I read it on 5 October 2026.

The front wing goes to the maximum of 50 while the rear stays at 31. The differential is very different: 100% on throttle and 20% off, against 90% and 50% on the 2025 car. The anti-roll bars are much softer at 1 and 11, the car sits lower at 22 and 48, and brake bias is 56%. Tyre pressures are higher, at 27.5 and 23 psi.

There is no wet set for the 2026 car at Imola yet. The 2026 data on F1Laps still moves from one day to the next. Treat it as a starting point and check the source before a league race.

Other tracks and older games

For the other Italian track, see my F1 25 Monza setup, which runs zero wing. For the highest downforce in the game, see my F1 25 Monaco setup. For a soft car on a track with a long straight, see my F1 25 China setup. If you are on an older game, I have an Imola setup for F1 23.
