The best car for The Colossus in Forza Horizon 6 is the 2020 Lotus Evija Forza Edition, if you have VIP. If you don't, take the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5. Those are the two cars that keep coming up in the guides that actually rank this race.

I have not timed these myself. Below are only the picks that two separate guides agree on, with the ratings and how to get each car taken from the official FH6 car list. Where the guides disagree, I say so.

What The Colossus rewards

The Colossus is one of the two long races of the game, next to The Goliath. You reach it late. The Gold wristband opens Legend Island, and that is where the endgame races are. My Forza Horizon 6 guide explains the wristbands.

The Goliath keeps throwing corners at you. The Colossus is more about getting up to speed and staying stable there for a long time. So the car that wins here is not always the car that wins a short circuit race. You want acceleration out of the slow corners and a car that stays calm when you are flat for a long stretch.

Before you pick, look at the class limit on the event screen. The Journal race and the Rivals or EventLab versions may not use the same rules, and that decides which of the cars below you can even enter.

Lotus Evija Forza Edition

Both Game8 and FandomWire put it first for lap time. It is 900 S2 stock.

The catch is that it is a VIP car, so it sits behind the Premium Edition or the VIP purchase. And FandomWire warns that it spins easily if you are greedy with the throttle. On a pad, squeeze the trigger out of the slow corners rather than snapping it.

Hennessey Venom F5

This is my pick for most people. It is on both lists, it is a normal Autoshow and Wheelspin car, and at 870 S2 stock it is already an S2 hypercar without touching the build.

It is a top speed car. That suits the long flat sections. Where you lose time is the slower corners, so brake a little earlier than feels right and get it straight before you go back to full throttle. Same rule as any heavy, fast car on a real track: the exit decides the next straight.

The farming cars

A lot of people search for the best Colossus car because they want credits, not a trophy. Here the guides pick Forza Edition cars, because each one carries a bonus on what you earn.

The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition is the credits car in both guides. It is a VIP car, 998 R stock. Yes, a pickup truck. Forza Edition cars are not built like the real thing.

Without VIP, take the Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition. Game8 names it as the credits car for players without VIP, and FandomWire ranks it second for the race overall. It only comes from Wheelspins and seasonal rewards, or the Auction House. My Super Wheelspins guide covers how to get more spins.

The guides do not agree on the exact payout per lap, so I am not quoting one. For every other way to earn, see my Forza Horizon 6 money guide.

Where the guides disagree

One guide ranks cars by class and puts the McLaren Speedtail on top in S2, with the Aston Martin Valkyrie as an alternative. Game8 lists the Lamborghini Centenario, the Venom F5 and the Mercedes-AMG ONE for the hypercar race and says there is no single best car. FandomWire has the Koenigsegg Jesko fourth.

Only the four cars in the table show up in two lists, so only those four are my picks. If you already own a Jesko or an AMG ONE, try it before you spend credits. My best cars in Forza Horizon 6 page has the Jesko as the top speed car.
