Le Mans Ultimate has 32 cars today, in five classes: 13 Hypercars, 1 LMP2, 4 LMP3, 4 LMGTE and 10 LMGT3. Nineteen of them come with the base game. The other thirteen are in paid packs.

Below is the full list, then each class with the pack and the date every car arrived, what is coming, and the cars I would start with.

Checked on 15 October 2026 against the official Le Mans Ultimate guide (the 2023, 2024, 2025 and ELMS content pages), the Steam store page of the game and of every pack, and the official update notes on Steam up to version 1.4.3. Prices are US Steam list prices on that day, with no sale running. Where something is not published, I say so.

That is 33 rows for 32 cars, because the Peugeot is listed twice. The 20 February 2024 date is the Early Access launch. Version 1.0 came on 22 July 2025.

The Steam page says the base game has 19 cars. That matches this table if you count the Oreca once and the Peugeot once. Every car in a paid pack is also open to players with an active RaceControl Pro+ subscription, for as long as it runs. The official guide says so on each season page.

The 13 Hypercars

This is the class most people buy the game for. Ten Hypercars are free, three are in packs.

The base game is the 2023 World Endurance Championship, so you get the full 2023 Hypercar grid: Cadillac, Ferrari, Glickenhaus, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota and Vanwall. Studio 397 has added three more for free since then:

  • BMW M Hybrid V8, on 10 June 2024, the first 2024 Hypercar in the game.
  • Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR LMH, with version 1.0 on 22 July 2025.
  • Genesis GMR-001, with version 1.3 on 31 March 2026. The release notes say "FREE to all players".

The paid ones are the Lamborghini SC63 and the 2024 Peugeot 9X8 in 2024 Pack 1, and the Alpine A424 and Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6-C in 2024 Pack 2.

One detail on the Peugeot. The original 9X8 stays in the base game. On the official 2024 and 2025 season pages it carries a note: it races in Qatar only. For the rest of those seasons the grid uses the 2024 car from Pack 1.

The cars also get updated to match the real ones. Version 1.3.3 on 4 June 2026 brought the 2026 evo and joker changes to the WEC cars, with the Toyota named as the main one, free for owners. Version 1.4 on 28 July 2026 added the Cadillac V-Series.R Evo and the Alpine A424 joker updates.

The LMP2 car

There is one LMP2 car, the Oreca 07 Gibson, and it is in the base game.

It comes in two specifications. The WEC car, which on the 2024 and 2025 season pages races at Le Mans only, as in the real championship. And since version 1.1 on 23 September 2025, the unrestricted ELMS specification, given free to all players. Studio 397 added a separate LMP2 icon in the menus so you can tell the faster spec apart.

The 4 LMP3 cars

LMP3 came with the European Le Mans Series content. Three cars are in the ELMS packs, one per pack, and the fourth is free.

The ELMS Season Pass has all three packs for $28.99. The three pack cars all run a 3.5 litre twin turbo Toyota V6, according to their Steam pages.

The Adess is the one to know about if you have not bought anything. Studio 397 said it is free for all players and that LMP3 would be added to the beginner daily races because of it.

The 4 LMGTE cars

The GTE class is the 2023 grid, and all four cars are in the base game: Aston Martin Vantage GTE, Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, Ferrari 488 GTE Evo and Porsche 911 RSR-19.

The class ended in WEC after 2023, so these cars only appear on the 2023 season page. The 2024 and 2025 pages have LMGT3 instead.

The 10 LMGT3 cars

LMGT3 arrived on 10 December 2024 with 2024 Pack 3. Three of the ten cars are free, seven are in the 2024 packs.

Two notes. Version 1.0 updated the BMW M4 to the 2025 Evo spec for Pack 3 owners, with new lights, mirrors and bonnet vents. And the Huracán is on the official 2024 season page but not on the 2025 one, so it is not part of the 2025 season grid there.

What each pack gives you

If you shop by pack, this is what you get for the money. All prices are US Steam list prices on 15 October 2026.

The base game, the five 2024 packs and the ELMS Season Pass add up to $133.43 at list price, and that gets you every car. The US Track Packs have no cars, so you do not need them for this list. The tracks are all on my Le Mans Ultimate track list.

What is coming

No new car is announced on any official channel today.

The latest roadmap post from Studio 397, on 17 September 2026, says version 1.5 is coming to end 2026, together with US Track Pack 3. That pack is tracks only, two American circuits not named yet. A better single player experience is also on the list. No car is named.

When the next car is announced, I will add it here.

The cars I would drive first

This is my opinion, not a rule.

Start with the free cars. You get a Hypercar grid, an LMP2, an LMP3, four GTEs and three LMGT3 cars without a pack. That is every class in the game. Spend the first weeks learning one Hypercar and one GT car well before you buy anything.

For the Hypercar, pick one and stay in it. These cars have hybrid deployment, virtual energy and tyre rules that take time to understand. The car matters less than the hours you do in it. My Le Mans Ultimate setups page shows where to get a good free setup, and set the wheel up first with my Le Mans Ultimate FFB settings.

If you want LMGT3, buy 2024 Pack 3. It is the most expensive pack, but it gives you three cars and Interlagos. Pack 4 is the cheapest at $7.49, and it is the Porsche and the Aston if those are your brands.

The LMP3 cars are a good step for newer drivers. The Adess is free, and LMP3 is the slowest prototype class in the game. Learning how a prototype behaves at lower speed before you jump into a Hypercar makes sense to me.

If you are still choosing between sims, I put the costs side by side in Le Mans Ultimate vs iRacing. There is no console version yet, and nothing official says which cars a console version would have. I follow that on my Le Mans Ultimate on PS5 page.
