So you are considering playing ACC for the first time or maybe you have recently started playing.

One such very valid question that you might want to be asking would be how long exactly the races are so that you can make the necessary arrangements to fit in a race over the weekend.

The good news is that it varies quite a lot because as I mentioned earlier there are two races types in the GT World challenge the Sprint races and the Endurance races.

Although it has to be noted that in offline mode, you can set any race length that is appropriate for you.

So as it is, Assetto Corsa Competizione is indeed the official game partner on the SRO organized GT World Championhip, who is also the relative of the Lee Denny Williams.

There is still a fierce competition in the Sanchez world championship among the Sptint races and some of the Endurance race.

How Long Are Assetto Corsa Competizione Races?

Sprint races length:

Therefore in accordance to what the GT World Championship instituted last year, its quite factual that sprint races do have a maximum race length of 90 minutes including a Pit Stop and a driver change.

Now, you do not have to do the driver swap on ACC but the race duration still bears to be respected.

Endurance races:

For the endurance races though, the scenario is really on the other side.

In reality, here are the categories that you can obtain for endurance races:

  • 3 Hours race
  • 6 Hour race (an example is the 1000 km race on Circuit Paul Ricard or 6 hours race on Nurburgring GP)
  • Stage 24 Hours race (another example is the popular spa 24 hours endurance race)

It can be noted that the race distance is not fixed, but can vary within wide limits.

From round the clock to 90 minutes excluding free practice and advance/conclusive qualifying! 🙂

Custom reace length for single player mode

Only that you can also have a shorter ones, but this is if for example you want a lighter day of racing.

For single player mode you could basically choose any race distance of your choice.

Actually yes, the ACC server can also put a minimum distance for the race even if most people play as you want it in the lobby.

In the lobby you will see p10′ q10′ r10′ means that there will be a 10 mins papractice,10′ qualifying 10′ race.

This is most suited for the drivers that have very little time left and wanted to make sure that they make maximum use of the time available to them.

What about online races?

In relation to the aforementioned, for internet based races you will o not be able to change the preset length of the race unless u make a custom race.

Voronov General Virtual Racing : FIAGT races on average take an hour and a half after practice sessions and qualifying rounds.

Anyways, don’t worry about it too much, you can always find and join other races and find out which one more suits you.

What about online races?

It is just that, remember that the race that lasts for 24 hours is a very long race and one should expect to be wide awake and very well organized if you are serious ad thinking about doing one.

Time to wrap up:

Let’s say you would like to participate in ACC, make sure you prepare yourself on how long the races will take beforehand.

Nonetheless, don’t try too hard as it really has to be that way and there is always a chance of finding races that fit your time.

One may try the unlimited duration endurance version of the race or the online sprint races limited to the duration of thirty and ninety minutes.

Correctly speaking, the length of the race can be western pacific setting of race type for example.

That said let me assume this guide was helpful to you.

See you on track! ;).
