Have you been looking around for the latest and best setups in Nascar Heat 5 but struggled to find any good ones?
We all know how essential it is to have a great NASCAR Xfinity setup in NH5, especially in such a tricky circuit as Auto Club Speedway.
If you’re looking to crack into the low 39s then you’ll want to make sure you stay nearly full throttle all the way through the lap. Just a very small lift is allowed but you’ll need to go straight back on the throttle as the car rotates.
You definitely don’t want to lose too much time by scrubbing off speed in the corners.
You’ll want to run a negative 3.5 camber in the front right and a positive 3.0 degrees in the front left with a wheel lock of around 10 degrees.
That high positive camber on the front left will help you a lot with the initial turn-in whereas the negative one on the right wheel will help the mid-corner grip phase where there’s the highest lateral load on the tires.
You’ll want a pretty stiff front swaybar around 1.500 since it will help you rotate the car while at the same time not unsettling the rear too much while turning in.
It’s really key to not have too much oversteer in the car since you don’t want to be forced to lift the throttle due to the back end stepping out.
In terms of gearing, you’ll want to run a 3 gears setup with a rear end ratio of 3.00.
Make sure that you begin the lap with a really good slipstream so that by drafting you will improve the time by even up to 3 to 5 tenths!
