Do you want wheel settings that are the most authentic while driving an Automobilista 2 and using a Fanatec wheel?

This is important if you use a Clubsport V2.5 or a Podium DD2 In this case, with the help of this guide, you can optimize your settings to get the best experience possible.

Let’s start from the basics, one of the basic tenets is that there is no universal setting that works for every individual and that needs to be kept in mind.

Moreover, because people have a different range of thumb impressions, it is clear that we will not always see the same torque rotation, so it will be necessary to work with settings to find the one more suitable for each of them.

That being said let’s get underway with adjusting the settings as I am sure it should be a good fit for your minute details if scaling this back is something desired for you.

First things first, we need to make sure that all of these calibration settings for the wheel are correct otherwise we have a problem.

So, changes of the in-game settings should first go through Fanatec tuning menu so that the calibration of the wheel cannot go wrong.

The last setting changes were quite evasive, as you’d wish to understand now for the DD2 midday and unconditional.

  • SEN = Automatic
  • FF = 45
  • FFS = Peak
  • NDP = 22
  • NFR = 1
  • NIN = 6
  • INT = 2
  • FEI = 100
  • FOR = 100
  • SPR = 100
  • DPR = 100
  • BLI = Default
  • SHO = 100
  • BRF = Default

Here’s what you’ll need to set for the Fanatec Clubsport V2.5:

  • SEN = Automatic
  • FF = 100
  • SHO = 100
  • BLI = Default
  • DRI = -02
  • FOR = 100
  • SPR = 100
  • DPR = 100
  • BRF = Default
  • FEI = 100

Automobilista 2 Logitech FFB Settings (Podium DD2 & Clubsport)

The last setting changes were quite evasive, as you’d wish to understand now for the DD2 midday and unconditional. Now that we have calibrated effectively our Fanatec Wheel and FFB Tuning is set to default value, we can move to settings in the game.

Automobilista 2 Logitech FFB Settings (Podium DD2 & Clubsport)

We strongly recommend Fanatec Podium F1 DD2 and Clubsport and these are the settings we used to test them:

Configuration

In Options > Controls > Configuration:

  • Steering deadzone = 0
  • Steering sensitivity = 35
  • Brake deadzone = 0
  • Brake sensitivity = 40
  • Clutch deadzone = 0
  • Clutch sensitivity = 35

Force Feedback

In Options > Controls > Force Feedback:

  • Type = Custom
  • Gain = 65
  • Low Force Feedback = 0
  • FX = 0
  • Damping = 0

There is a clear trend in terms of wanting to run really low – or zero – dead zones for both steering and pedals as this seems to yield the most natural and precise results.

Force Feedback

Equally we are not able to find a need for steering sensitivity over 35 which in our instances we don’t need to be turning the wheel awfully much so do not require too much accuracy.

Conclusion

So these were the fanatec wheel settings which we used with Automobilista 2.

We will try to monitor and address any future changes in the system although we don’t expect such changes in the near future to occur, so far these are the optimal values according to our findings.

Do not forget that you can always try different values and see which settings yield the desired outcome for you.

Thank you for reading, we hope that it was useful and we hope one day we’ll be able to race against you on Automobilista 2!

Good luck and in the next race see you on the Raid! 😀
