There are a lot of different ways to go about this, but the best way is to find some proven FFB settings that will suit your own driving style.

Every driver is different, so it’s important to find settings that work best for you. However, there are some general tips that can help you get started.

Is rFactor 2 FFB any good?

rFactor 2 has perhaps the best force feedback system in any simulator together with iRacing and ACC. It really makes you feel like driving a real car.

The way FFB works in rF2 is that the game calculates all the different forces acting on the car and then applies them to your wheel. This includes things like tyre slip, aerodynamic downforce, and weight transfer.

All of these forces are then combined and applied to your wheel, which makes it feel like you’re really driving a car.

The FFB in rFactor 2 is so good that many professional drivers actually use it to practice for real-life races.

How do you change FFB in rFactor 2?

There are a few things that you need to do in order to change the FFB in rFactor 2.

First, you need to go into the game’s wheel settings menu. To do this, click In Options > Calibrate > Steering.

As you can see the sensitivity is at 100% for all three pedals and the steering while at the same time having a 0% deadzone.

In terms of FFB settings we recommend using these:

  • Smoothing: 9
  • Car specific multiplier: 45%
  • Minimum steering torque: 0%
  • Speed Sensitivity: 0%
  • Exaggerate yaw: 20%
  • Look ahead: 0%
  • Head physics: 100%
  • Head vibration: Aero (Linear)

As you can see, most force feedback settings are quite low. This is because rFactor 2 already has a very strong FFB signal and so you don’t need to amplify it too much.

The only exception to this is the car-specific multiplier, which you’ll need to increase in order to get the full force feedback effect from each car.

Does rFactor 2 support Logitech G920?

Of course it does and it’s actually one of the easiest steering wheels to set up in terms of force feedback.

Most sim racers enjoy using Logitech wheels because they’re relatively cheap and they offer a great in-built FFB.

If you want to use a Logitech G920 with rFactor 2 then we recommend using the following settings:
